Configuring Unlabeled VLAN Identifiers

Automatically configure an unlimited number of Ethernet ports. Queue ports to a VLAN identifier and then configure them automatically. LLDP or CDP must be enabled on the switch for this.

• Queue When Needed: Queue ports for unlabeled configuration at any time using the manual queue in the main menu.
• Review Changes: Review saved logs in the history menu.
• No Software Knowledge Required: No need to know switch CLI syntax to configure unlabeled ports.

Configuring Tagged VLANs

• Queue and configure Tagged VLAN Identifiers automatically. This is perfect for access point deployments.
• Select which ports to add to the queue manually.
• No need to know switch CLI syntax to configure tagged and local VLAN identifiers on a port.

Configuration with IF/THEN

• Use the power of IF/THEN statements to create custom configuration deployments.
• Export your IF/THEN templates with AES 128 encryption and share them with a colleague.
• Import a shared or backed-up IF/THEN template. Download ready-made templates and more. (WiFi mode only)

Automatic Queued Deployment

• If you need to configure many ports, allow your netool to automatically detect and then configure the ports using LLDP or CDP.
• Share queue configuration changes with a colleague for verification.
• Change the port description for each queued port.
• You can run the entire queue or just a single queue.

PCAP Capture

• Capture packets to a USB drive. The drive is not included; we recommend a SanDisk.
• Use filters to capture only the data you need, such as HTTP.
• Convert to text format and download the captured PCAP file from the root of the USB drive attached to the netool.io Pro.

Review Logs

• Detailed output logs are recorded for every successful SSH session established by Netool.
• Share logs via email, Slack, txt, and more.
• All passwords detected in logs are masked before recording.

Secure Deployment

• SSH key credential profiles cannot be modified, ensuring security when handing the netool.io to another user.
• We added the ability to disable IF/THEN statements for any SSH key credential profile.
• You can restrict the VLAN identifiers that Netool can configure for specific SSH key credential profiles.

Data Export and Import

• Export or import credential profiles using AES 128 encryption. (WiFi mode only)
• Export and share custom IF/THEN statements with your team via email, Slack, txt, and more. (WiFi mode only)

802.1X Authentication Testing

• Visually see if 802.1X authentication is successful from the main menu.
• Easily configure 802.1X with your username and password in the Ethernet menu.
• Verify that your 802.1X configuration is detected with the assigned IP range or VLAN identifier.

Share Your Findings

• Share all collected information from the main menu via any text-based application, Slack, email, and more.
• Share all tag history entries from the Tag History menu.
• Easily share your Netool.cloud ID.

Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Connectivity

• BLE 5.0: Connect to Netool.io Lite with Bluetooth Low Energy while staying connected to your building WiFi.
• WiFi: Enable simple NAT router mode to connect your phone to the network being tested. This allows you to access switches and servers from your phone.
• Flexibility: Connect to netool.Lite any way you prefer, even using the Ethernet port.
